Introduction to laser engraving machine

It is more convenient and faster to use a laser engraving knife for engraving than to use an ordinary engraving knife. Using ordinary carving knives on hard materials, such as carving on granite, steel plates, or carving on some soft materials, such as leather, is more difficult, it takes a long time to engrave a pattern. . It is different if laser engraving is used because it is a method of engraving that uses a high-energy-density laser to locally illuminate the workpiece, vaporize the surface material, or undergo a chemical reaction that changes color, leaving a permanent mark. It is not in contact with the material at all, and the material is hard or soft and does not interfere with the speed of engraving. Therefore, laser engraving technology is one of the largest application areas of laser processing. Engraving with this engraving knife is the same as carving on a hard material or on a soft material. If you control the laser beam movement in conjunction with the computer, the engraving work can be automated. The pattern to be engraved is placed on the photoelectric scanner. After the signal output by the scanner is processed by the computer, it is used to control the action of the laser beam, and it can be automatically engraved on the board, glass, and leather according to our pattern. At the same time, the focused laser beam is very thin, which is equivalent to a very dexterous carving knife. The carved lines are fine, and the details on the pattern can also be carved out. Laser engraving can produce a variety of characters, symbols and patterns, and the size of the characters can be from millimeters to micrometers, which has special significance for the anti-counterfeiting of products. Laser engraving has been developed in recent years to achieve sub-micron engraving and has been widely used in the microelectronics industry and bioengineering.
