◆ Mineral water bottle marking

Plastic bottles are marked as "hot working". The mineral water bottle or the edible oil bottle body material is mainly PET, and the CO2 laser marking can obtain better marking effect. In addition, different wavelength lasers can produce different effects. If the material of the bottle is thick, a 10.6 micron wavelength CO2 laser can be used to produce a more transparent font. If the material of the bottle is thin, a 9.3 micron laser can be used to produce a relatively white font effect. Thanks to the better absorption of CO2 laser by PET materials, 30W lasers can be easily used to mark up to 40,000 bottles per hour.

◆ Tray marking

The carton marking is also a "hot working" process. The carton can be divided into two types according to the color. The dark carton can be marked with fiber optic or CO2 laser, and the light carton can only be marked with CO2 laser. Because the light (white) paper material absorbs the fiber poorly, the fiber laser is difficult to make marks on the white paper, even if the speed is not fast, the effect will not be good. The CO2 laser processing mainly utilizes the thermal energy of CO2 to carbonize the paper material to form dark marks and patterns. The dark (black) material absorbs the laser light better. The dark paper box has a black coating on the surface, and the interior is white or light-colored paper. The black surface is marked with an optical fiber to remove the light traces of the inner layer. pattern.

◆ Plastic packaging bag marking

Plastic bags or boxes have many types of materials, including PET, PC, HDPE, PE, PP, ABS and PBT. Usually, if the bag is thicker, it can be marked with CO2 laser. The adverse reaction of CO2 laser marking is high heat, easy to burn through the bag or local deformation of the bag to affect the appearance. If the color of the bag to be marked is darker, the fiber laser can be used for marking, and the principle is the same as that of the dark carton. If the packaging bag is thin and the marking position is lighter, UV (UV) laser marking may be a better choice.
